About Dr. Levy

Therapy Philosophy

I believe that everyone has an important story of their own to tell. Therapy is not an easy process. But, that’s what it is, a process. I believe that change comes from looking within and enhancing our own self-understanding. Learning our patterns and where they come from helps us to change the way that we are living now. You have a unique story to tell and I will walk along with you through that process.

I know it can be really hard to find a therapist. It’s so important to feel comfortable in order to open up about your deepest fears, dreams, and feelings. It’s scary reaching out.

I am a licensed psychologist (PY 10569) located in Boca Raton, Florida. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University and went on to earn a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. My dissertation involved developing and implementing a mindfulness-based group intervention for older adults.

I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Nova Southeastern University Psychology Services Center. I worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families with thought and mood disorders. I also received extensive training working with individuals with trauma and interpersonal difficulties. After my internship, I stayed at the Psychology Services Center to enhance my expertise in long-term therapy and personality disorders. In addition, I received training in couples therapy.

900 years of time and space and I’ve never met someone who wasn’t important.”
